They do accept it directly. They changed it so BTC can be accepted straight from wallet to Bitcoin-Betting.

Metamask is just used to identify your account since it's anonymous. Open Metamask, then at Bitcoin-Betting.com, click Launch App. After that, you don't use Metamask. The accounts are just attached and you can bet Pinny lines.

A global recession in 2026 is very likely to happen.

You can't do much wrong with high cap coins. I'm in a lot of the small caps so there will be quit a few misses. Just bought into the Snorter Token pre-sale. This will surely be a miss. It'll be on Telegram and is a sniper bot.

Alts are speculative assets. Majority of shitcoins were unable to reach their previous ATH. Alts come and go. Bitcoin is here to stay but it doesn't make sense to hodl Bitcoin when bear season kicks in either. Will you watch your portfolio going down %70?

So, BTC is going drop 70% from an ATH of $122 all the way down to $36.6K? Do you think the institutions, the ETFs, Michael Saylor, El Salvador and state reserves are going to let it drop that far? As mentioned above, so many assets don't have the crazy 4 year cycle that crypto has - and, IMO, there is a high probability that crypto will even out at some point,.

We differ on shitcoins. I own Eth, Monero , Tron, others. They have given me good, sometimes double-digit multipliers and keep going up. I will sell when I think the time is right otherwise, I will hodl another 4 years and perhaps have an even bigger payday. No doubt some are losers however, there are others that have a bright future. There's money to be made on the shitcoins/memecoins if you do your homework and have the stomach (and pockets) for the losses. And there will be losses. (kinda like gambling, no?)

I have hodl-ed some crypto for 8+ years and am long past going into the red during a bear market. That just doesn't happen anymore. I'm not going to cash out and create a taxable event so the disgusting IRS can make money off of me just because a bull market will come to an end..... I will probably cash out when I am ready to make some monumental purchase. Taxes have to be paid ASAP on a large cash-out because you can get penalized if you wait till end of year.

There is no playbook to follow. Everyone's situation is different.

I think silver (and gold) have since righted their reputation as sound investments. I bought silver 8 years ago and it has slowly 2x'ed. Still got it and still hodling.

*I think we present a pretty un-biased view on BTC in here. I wanted to address one trend.

It's the current hype factor. Or lack thereof:
*As bitcoin enthusiasts, we tend to have blinders on. We think that Bitcoin is the only logical solution.
...What about the others (who have not taken the leap yet)?
...Reasonable estimate of understanding Bitcoin is to do 20 to 40 hours of research. How many non-Bitcoiners have put in that time?
...Google search trends say that "Bitcoin" search is down by as much as 50% (from four years ago).
...Go back to the saying of "Follow the Money." The ETFs and BTC treasury companies are stock-piling. They're front-running before the supply dries up.
...That means that the demand is somewhat limited. The populous hasn't figured it out yet.
...If you're wondering why the price isn't going parabolic, I think this is a reason.
...Take-away = BTC is on sale. Won't last forever.
