I think it was you that called beam a few weeks ago. That was a great call. As you know I've struggled with my gambling addiction so I've been in and out of the crypto game since 2015ish. I started again fresh about a month ago and used a lot of your advice and some others in this thread.

This is what I'm holding now:

SOL
INJ
VET
BEAM
MINA
CRO (small)
A tiny amount of Songbird from an old airdrop

I'm not adding anything until this run dies down


My biggest mistakes over the years was obviously selling/gambling all my btc. I also held a lot of tron, xrp, ltc, eth, eos, doge, shib, hot, egold (that one hurt), dot, ada, monero, and 100s of several other shitcoins that i cant even remember. All that I eventually converted all to btc to gamble with offshore.

Nice portfolio, should all win long term. Nice day for CRO too. Don't worry if it takes some time for the alts to pump. When BTC starts rolling it will suck some of the liquidity out of the market. This is why normally BTC hits first followed by large cap alts. Patience is the best way to play it.

planb's chart is good since it's tailored to BTC, not stocks. It shows that this cycle will follow the previous ones. Obviously the 4 year cycle is incorporated in the chart.

Today could be the day. Really like the chart B presented. Look closely at what he's saying:

*If the fractal patterns hold, the dots go from Blue (Accumulation-phase) to Red (Bull market).

The bigger difference (in layman's terms):
*Accumulation - increasing at a slow rate where f'' (concavity) is flat.
*Bull market - increasing at a faster rate where f'' (concavity) is > 0.

Ooh-la-la, a guy can only dream.

Gun, that's a great chart. In my observation, that BTC Fear+Greed index is NOT necessarily contrarian.
...In other words: when it's bleeding extreme hi/low, there's some tendency for the price to CONTINUE to move in that direction.

I'm a much bigger fan of the cyclical chart. IMHO, if you study the cyclical graphs, it's hard to NOT say that the Bitcoin price repeats over cycles.

To follow up my ideas on that, it's like BTC following the adoption curve. As a new technology gains a foothold, more people ask about it and becoming interested. Ergo, the adoption and FOMO.

Great chance to test out the Rebound theory. When I see a mini-dip of 6% off the local HI, I'm incentivized to buy a little bit more.

ive got most of what I sold back at 65 already, its a long term hold hold hold to the moon. but some market timing can help you build up a bit more during these swings.

I'm a little surprised by the dip. But maybe I shouldn't be. Price was arguably over-heated.

I know that volatility is part of the game. And down-ticks do come during a Bull Mkt. This one's heavier than I anticipated.

Not all that bad if you allow yourself to zoom out and look at the big picture...we were around 40k like a month ago so still up huge recently.

You kind of have to expect some kind of adjustment after a massive uptick.

The mini-dip makes sense. ATH reached, some guys need $$ to pay bills. If it was a stock, they'd sell a piece of it.

One other investing theory about BTC this week. There's so much interest right now, it makes for a High-Variance environment. By that I mean both swings to the Plus and Minus. Makes sense to me that the swings are massive this week.

Right on schedule. Normally the dips are 20-30%. This wasn't bad at all.

Coinbase crashed because of all the new signups. Blackrock and gang bought over $5b in the last two weeks. Normally there are 20% drops but how can it drop when so much is being bought. Even some guys not involved with institutions gobbling up BTC. Mr100 buying 100 BTC every day.

Maybe the ETFs did keep us away from the normal 20% drop.
