My biggest mistakes over the years was obviously selling/gambling all my btc. I also held a lot of tron, xrp, ltc, eth, eos, doge, shib, hot, egold (that one hurt), dot, ada, monero, and 100s of several other shitcoins that i cant even remember. All that I eventually converted all to btc to gamble with offshore.

Nice portfolio, should all win long term. Nice day for CRO too. Don't worry if it takes some time for the alts to pump. When BTC starts rolling it will suck some of the liquidity out of the market. This is why normally BTC hits first followed by large cap alts. Patience is the best way to play it.

"Face-melting FOMO" on the way....

Mentions the poor bull market of 2021 and blames it on China banning BTC mining. I hadn't thought of that angle but he's probably correct... Certainly that was a contributor.

Saylor predicting a 10 year "gold rush" into BTC.....

planb's chart is good since it's tailored to BTC, not stocks. It shows that this cycle will follow the previous ones. Obviously the 4 year cycle is incorporated in the chart.

Today could be the day. Really like the chart B presented. Look closely at what he's saying:

*If the fractal patterns hold, the dots go from Blue (Accumulation-phase) to Red (Bull market).

The bigger difference (in layman's terms):
*Accumulation - increasing at a slow rate where f'' (concavity) is flat.
*Bull market - increasing at a faster rate where f'' (concavity) is > 0.

Gun, that's a great chart. In my observation, that BTC Fear+Greed index is NOT necessarily contrarian.
...In other words: when it's bleeding extreme hi/low, there's some tendency for the price to CONTINUE to move in that direction.

I'm a much bigger fan of the cyclical chart. IMHO, if you study the cyclical graphs, it's hard to NOT say that the Bitcoin price repeats over cycles.

To follow up my ideas on that, it's like BTC following the adoption curve. As a new technology gains a foothold, more people ask about it and becoming interested. Ergo, the adoption and FOMO.

freefall down to 65.3k after crossing ATH...hopefully that is the extent of the pullback for now.

time average to get back in on this drop back a bit at 65k will do some more at 64k

Great chance to test out the Rebound theory. When I see a mini-dip of 6% off the local HI, I'm incentivized to buy a little bit more.

Try, respect that view. But you're going to find a lot of Bulls in this thread. Not too many guys selling (for a while, at least).

for sure dont sell now was just a possible easy sell at the peak all time high some (which i did ) as last peak also lasted a few moments.
ive got most of what I sold back at 65 already, its a long term hold hold hold to the moon. but some market timing can help you build up a bit more during these swings.

I know that volatility is part of the game. And down-ticks do come during a Bull Mkt. This one's heavier than I anticipated.

Not all that bad if you allow yourself to zoom out and look at the big picture...we were around 40k like a month ago so still up huge recently.

You kind of have to expect some kind of adjustment after a massive uptick.

The mini-dip makes sense. ATH reached, some guys need $$ to pay bills. If it was a stock, they'd sell a piece of it.

One other investing theory about BTC this week. There's so much interest right now, it makes for a High-Variance environment. By that I mean both swings to the Plus and Minus. Makes sense to me that the swings are massive this week.
