Raiders, what would your Playbook be for a novice to get knowledgable on these individual Alt's? It seems so far over my head.

So, the idea is that each Alt coin brings something a little different to the table?

I like how we are stabilized a bit for the last few days.

I'd like to see a nice solid floor develop above 30k. Month or two at these levels would be fine and dandy for my plan.

Not advice but if I were young and just starting, I'd study as much as possible about DeFi and get in right now. That's where the get rich coins are and this stuff only comes around every 3 or 4 years. Of course this is very risky.

There really aren't that many categories of coins. For the most part:

Cryptos just straight ledgers such Bitcoin, LTC, BSV
Privacy coins : XMR, DASH, ZCash, ZEN
Smart contracts: ETH, ADA, EOS, TRX, NEO
NFTs : MANA
DeFi - this is the new game with smart contracts, lending, business apps and more. DOT and LINK are the major players.

For someone that wants to learn about bitcoin, listen to Andreas Antonopoulos.

In the past, it took a long time for exchanges to list new coins. That's changing because of DeFi. The large centralized exchanges now have to compete with the DeFi exchanges forcing early listings.

i'm all for this sweet trading range but i don't think it can possibly last for two months, or even two more weeks

At the same time in the past year these coins have gone up:

CEL 37x
BAND 36x
RUNE 22x
THETA 20x
LINK 8x
GNO 8x

There are many more but these are the top ones that came to mind. There will be 100x coins if there aren't already in this run.

Now that BTC has surpassed it's previous high the whole market could dump. It's risk/reward at this point. Bittrex and Kraken. You'll have to add Gate, HitBTC and KuCoin to add some of the smaller cryptos. You'll also need Uniswap for brand new ERC-20 tokens. If you trade on Uniswap, it has to be for a substantial amount because of the gas cost.

I might be the only person that has never had a problem with HitBTC. So many comments I've come across that say they got screwed by them. I did a lot a lot of business with them about 1-2 years ago and never had a problem. I logged in the other day and they want the full KYC now, so I probably won't be back. Oh, for the days of just an email signup and Google Authenticator....

Kucoin is good. Never any problems with them. Still got a small bag of Kucoin tokens that I paid too much for....

I'm thinking this little period of consolidation has just about run its course. It was predicted and expected. Should be some leaps and bounds in the near future.... I'll be somewhat surprised if things continue as they are for another couple of weeks... or a month....

Problem with those smaller exchanges, the volume is low so some alts never get filled.

I was thinking about using a VPN but I heard Binance is doing video KYC now. LOL WTF?

agreed, seen alt coins fly up and fly back down, high risk & high reward investments, Purchased DOT at $4 so just riding it out , have stop loss set at $10 , but i see $100 potential for DOT in a solid bull run
