yeah , one thing ive kinda missed or was late to was some of the "narratives" that play out. i want to do a better job of recognizing them early. certain things really catch fire early but we've also seen a lot of them end in smoldering ashes too ( nfts , memes and nodes.. gotta know when to get out haha ). i do think regulations will dramatically change the landscape at some point and tokens/software that solve real world problems will do well

It's tough to answer that question since we will all come up with reasons after the fact. More bank failures:

1. BTC price goes up, bitcoin is a hedge.
2. BTC goes down, bitcoin is following macro economics.

Although I was wrong not that far back about bitcoin being independent of stocks, with the upcoming bull run, bitcoin is now independent of everything. The halving trumps all. Short term fluctuations will be caused by recent events. Whales use the info to push it one way or the other. In the next two years the bitcoin price will continue to rise with bumps along the way.

*For a long time, BTC moved in the same direction as the Stock indices.

*Recently, BTC appears to be De-coupling from stocks.
...I see Silver and Bitcoin moving in the same direction. Up.
...This is a huge trend, if it continues. It means that people are deciding to park their $$ elsewhere.

IMHO, these themes are correlated. Bank failures = more people sniffing out the Fiat currency truth.

Watch for more news items this week. The banking failures are tied to the Accounting games. How many of these banks are TRULY insolvent?

LOL, if you only knew how hard I have been chasing other options. I did a 12 hour round trip drive today to work on it. Selling the crypto I have slowly collected over the last 3 years will burn, but the property the money is going into will probably earn me more long term anyway really.

I still have a month or so to find another way or make a big score on the car betting

If you've built up a Crypto stash, I would recommend holding (if at all possible) for the next 24 months. If you believe in the periodicity across the halving, this should be the time when the price goes north. Would be nice to hold til 2025 and re-evaluate then.

I just paid a deposit on an investment property and will be mortgaged up to the hilt of financial capacity/credibility. I even had to reduce limit on a c card to get approved for the amount I wanted the deal is so tight.

Most of my savings have gone to the deposit and I still need about 40k more for renovations. I've slowly squirrelled away a bit under 10k cash into crypto that is worth low 20s right now. And have a collector car worth about 20k which I have also been 'hodling'. I don't want to sell the car almost as much as I don't want to sell crypto. But realistically I should not worry about it as the house should make me more money than my smallish amount of btc ever will long term. Still burns though.

A few months ago, a few were saying the bottom was in and BTC would probably hang around 20K-30K for a long time. That probably still holds true.

There's a long way to go to 2024 and 2025.

Unless there is a black swan/world-changing-event, it's going to be a boring year.
