It was in response to Jibby saying he didn't trust crypto anymore after FTX. Not being able to trust a crypto exchange has nothing to do with trust in Bitcoin. You can literally hold all of your bitcoin in your own head there's no need to trust a crypto exchange and if you do and it goes belly up you can't blame that on Bitcoin. It would be like blaming fiat currency for what Bernie Madoff did.

I have seen some evidence that tells me it will become undeniable this year.

Think about it. An EE might get a +3% merit raise.

Costs are rising a HELL of a lot faster than that:
*Ask Farmers about their fertilizer costs (and other Input costs).
*Claim costs that insurers are paying out. Specifically for Auto...but other Lines, too.

Way way more than that. Things will not be sustainable. Also, word of layoffs is coming.

If people are ignoring OTHER things, I would think Bitcoin and monetary change are hot topics. See Milw Mike's post above. I think people are sniffing out Fiat money.

Track the inflation factors this year. I don't where people come up with the idea that Inflation is starting to tame. Did the USA turn off the paper money printers for 24 hours?

I think Sound Money will become a more real topic in 2023. Also, Putin is ready to financially crush the USA. He will leave no prisoner.

I'm hoping that we get some type of regulation soon so that we understand the game. If someone wanted to kill cryptos, they would wait until the bull run started, then invoke regulation.

I'm not a big fan of LTC but Ordinals (NFTs on BTC) could give LTC a nice boost. STX had a huge week because of Ordinals.

I'm now convinced that BTC is going to be a big deal within the next 760 days:

1) Time period goes across the halving. See my Saloon post on the history of the BTC price from t-1 b4 the halving to t+1 after the halving. I'm not saying the price will moon, but I do think it will increase 1.60x (or more) from current price. +25% Annual Growth will work for me.

2) I'm not saying anyone HAS TO believe in Bitcoin. But think about the corollary: *How can you POSSIBLY believe in Fiat?

3) Lastly, BTC as a global transaction entity is pretty awesome. Ask anyone who has processed transactions across the BTC network. Better yet, try it yourself. Compare that to the world of KYC and the related confirmations.

Just my opinion.

The top going in to the previous run was $20k. It went to $60k. Going from $60k to $100k would actually be a disappointment. Dips do go down 80% on average.

The mining pools also have a stock. I haven't bought any but I would assume that the stock price increases with the rise in the bitcoin price.

BTC is consider a riskier asset and is pretty much 90% correlated with where the NASDAQ goes these days.

The Chinese are pumping in lots of liquidity. Hong Kong wants to become a crypto hub. We might not see a run higher right now but I don't see the crypto market collapsing either. I actually think the fall will be bad and the next few months crypto might run led by Ethereum.

Maybe but when ftx is straight up printing or minting artificial BTC and then shorting it, the case for 100k last bull run begins to make sense as to why it should've but didn't happen
