#7007Pretty surprising to see bitcoin tanking now even without the stock market being down. People are underwater on average now so panic selling is coming in. Most likely goes to $10,000 at this point. People can't afford to lose any more.
Going to need a big stock market rally to turn it around.Comment -

#7008Saylor was getting called at $20,000 which gives the potential of collapse selling now. That is probably the reason for the downturn today. People want to get out in front of margin calls.Originally posted by ChuckyTheGoatSalud, Raider. Appreciate your thoughts.

Looking in the rear-view mirror is actually a terrible way to invest. That's similar to the Cathy Wood ARK investing.
My new hero on investing strategy is Kirian "Deso Games" van Hest. If for no other reason...he's admitted to past struggles, which include him trying to kill himself at least 3x.
van Hest called Raoul Paul a "charlatan" and Cathy Wood an "even bigger idiot." LOL
Back to Celsius. The Mashinsky thing really is a classic scheme. Doesn't matter if it's BTC or USD:
1) Pump up the sale. Push it hard. Induce investment.
2) Dylan Leclair summed up his strategy the best. Leclair called it taking a "Tail Risk", which is a perfect description.
I'm sure Mashinsky truly thought there was a 2% chance of BTC dropping to 20,000 this quickly. Is he holding $12Bill in gold reserves to pay back customers? LOL, no he isn't.Comment -

#7019Orby, got a real-life example to follow. Of course, there's a lot of chatter on this board. One topic we've covered is Silver price.Originally posted by Orbisonif you're Saylor? collateralized BTC
normal person? probably gold or silver to eventually cover with
Specifically, look at Physical silver price vs the Spot price. Live example:
*Ag spot price for 90% silver dime = $1.57.
How are Silver dimes doing on live re-sale? Look at this Ebay lot:
*Hasn't closed yet. Bid price already at $118.50 (on 10 Bids).
Add in tax/shipping. That's already a 67% markup over spot. Will that ratio approach 2.00:1?Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#7020I use to have quite a bit in Celsius but got tired of their 24 hour wait when white listing a new address. One day, I just pulled it all out and dispersed it. Never was a Mashinsky fan boy. Guy used to do weekly AMA's (still does?) which kinda sends out a vibe I didn't really like. Attention ho? Salesman? At any rate, glad I don't use Celsius anymore...
Crypto.com is still holding up although they have drastically nerfed their Earn program, staking yields and cash back. They planned this a few months ago and it started June 1 so "good timing" for them. One can still earn a lot of CRO through various means......
Not going to make predictions but still have faith in the long game.... Sometimes, it's healthy just to not sweat it and ride it out.... Coulda have taken some whopping profits back in late March but that doesn't matter now...Comment -

#7023It may not take 2 weeks to go down to 10,000. It's already at 17,500 on weekend.
