Gemini warning email

Got a warning email about transfers going in and out of account from gambling sites warning any future ones will result in account closure.

Guess I can’t use them for the back and forth anymore??

Love Gemini. But should I transfer whatever I’m going to use for offshore to Kraken? I opened an account there but have never used it.

Any advice would help. I don’t think I should ignore the Gemini email.

Curious, Were you going directly from sportsbooks to Gemini or Gemini to sportsbooks without a middle wallet?

If you want an online wallet, I'd suggest Blockchain.com/wallet or the Edge wallet app on your phone if you prefer that.

Lots of people here use both so help is always easy to find if needed.

Edge probably simpler if you want dead simple.

And basically, you should use that personal wallet at one end of every transaction you make.

Apart from respecting the exchange terms about sending to gambling sites, it means if anything ever goes wrong, you have control over the trasnaction to do soemthing about it without having to ask one or both companies you sent direct between to sort it out.


Be aware that people have ben shut down by Gemini when using a middle man wallet in the past. It's not foolproof. But if you are going to leave Gemini anyway but prefer to stay there. You may as well try it. I've never heard of any report of them confiscating funds over gambling use. Just closing the account and making you move any funds left out.

more and more are partnering with blockchain analysis companies that are popping up for risk and compliance assessment. I send ATM to book alot when I do smaller buys and ATM company i have sent 300+ Trans with all a sudden hit me with a compliance gambling warning last month. One ATM first trans sent me a gambling compliance text. They are on to it. Middle Man Wallet now every one

LOL How many idiots still go directly from exchanges to books and why? There are tons of threads saying use an intermediary wallets.
