Bitcoin Help Please

Wallet tells me synchronizing 1/30. Bought Bitcoin and waiting to receive it. Has already been sent but not showing up in wallet yet. Also, wallet doesn't force me but says I can upgrade to newer version.

What should or can I do?

If I update to the newer version to I lose the transaction?

So, it's been about 15 hrs. Did your transaction come through OK?

What wallet you using? Upgrading to a newer version shouldn't hurt. Transactions happen on the blockchain. Your wallet is just a "viewer" to allow you to send/receive from your address and to interact with the blockchain.

many times wallets sync issues are cause. some wallets do wait til one confirmation though. Click on this as its a good tool to tell what status is
