    New bitpay Mascard free for current vi$a bitpay card holders
    Just a heads up, if you curently have a vi$a bitpay card, you can get the new mascard $10 fee waived...email from support with instructions...

    Hello,

    After you complete the card onboarding process and verification the card order fee will be waived after this is completed.

    You can order the new BitPay Card from the BitPay app on your mobile device. Ordering the new BitPay Card is not available from the desktop version of the app nor the BitPay website.

    To order the new BitPay Card, you need to be on the latest version of the BitPay mobile app. You can update the BitPay app on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

    Note for new BitPay app users: You will have to create a new wallet and load the wallet with cryptocurrency, or import an existing wallet key into the BitPay app to pay the card ordering fee of 10.00 USD.

    After you have updated the BitPay app, please follow the steps below:
    1. Open the BitPay app.
    2. Click on the card icon in the app (third from the left) to see the new card offer. Or if you're using a QR code, it can be scanned from the wallet icon after creating or importing wallet.
    3. Complete the card onboarding process and verification. For existing vi$a cardholders, the card order fee will be waived after this is completed.

    And voilĂ ! You got the new card! You can even load and spend with the virtual card immediately after signing up. Please allow 10 business days for your physical card to arrive, then activate it in the app.

    Why would they charge if you are already a customer? That would be fuked up. What pisses me off about these idiots is they can't verify me even though I have already been a customer for 4 years.

      I agree with you, just figured because it's going from vi$a to mascard that they would be greedy and try and charge us agian. I got my vi$a card probably 5 or 6 yrs ago and figured I'd have to pay again, but guess not.

      Did you contact support? Not the phone number, the email support on website or app?

        SAME! Not four years but two and half. I was able to finally verify today using the app. Definitely email support, support@bitpay.com so you can try the ID verification process again.

          Yeah. I will. It's just frustrating because it says they can't verify my address when all my info has been the same since I signed up. Makes no sense why they even need to verify when we are already customers. No bank has made me do this when I get a new card.

              Curious...is there a lag or a glitch to the Bitpay app. Right now, it's saying I have no balance on my card when checking my app. Same thing also occurs when I log onto the computer. I made a small purchase using my card and it went through though.

                The problem I'm having with the bitpay app is that my ** debit card isn't showing up in the app so I can't send the bitcoin I have in my bitpay wallet to my debit card.
                Its been like this for 4 days.

                    You can load old vi$a until july 31st, and you must spend all of the money by December 31st.
