Do You Think Fairlay Can Survive This Downturn In Betting Business?

Do other people here feel the same way as littlekona does toward Fairlay?

What to do in order to not create problems with this betting site?

Would you trust this book over the next eight months while you wait for a bet to complete?

How old is fairlay.com and do you think they are financially strong?

You'd think Fairlay will be less affected than traditional books I guess. Being an exchange, part of the bitcoin community and having grown out of financial and political betting to start with.

like most places it's a ghost town right now. Optional is right as the sports exchange is kind of a hobby for them and they make huge cash on blockchain technology projects the guys work on. They are big time crypto and blockchain technology geeks. Funds with them are very safe as they hold all https://fairlay.com/proof-of-reserves/ I have done a few small withdrawals the last few weeks and it's same instant as unusual but miners fees seems to be lower then normal. I have read a poster here did 35K deposit and withdrawal without any hiccups.

I have heard they are working on the site to improve and Danshan has really added value by creating his parlay app. I also am pushing Danshan to become a horse market maker and offer lay odds at betfair odds and he is looking into that.

I would suggest if you have any concerns or questions to message them direct via the private channel in troll box or message Danshan on twitter as he is brilliant and has contributed to the Fairlay experience.

FWIW, I agree with Littlekona. I don't know how they do it, but Fairlay has always been supported by a gigantic pile of BTC. You can almost feel the cash behind them every time you do a withdrawal of absolutely any amount and it's in your wallet practically before you're done typing it in.

Heh, I hope I didn't hose myself, but my confidence in Fairlay is so high that I actually funded 1 BTC yesterday to grab some state by state bets in Biden vs Trump.

I actually made a good size deposit there a couple of days ago.

If you go onto their Twitter account it seems that June 12, 2019 was the last time they released a peek into their reserves? Am I missing how to see it, or why not current reserves allowed to look at?

https://bitedge.com/crypto-sportsbook-reviews/ < This site does not recommend fairlay and some bad reviews. Could they be from the competition? Seems that the people on the SBR forum do not think the same way and recommend fairlay instead.

This is a very good point. Fairlay is likely to survive because it grew out of financial and political betting, while some sports books go belly up if the Corona Virus becomes a more substantial pandemic and continues a long time.

I looked around a bit on that site, but had trouble finding much on Fairlay. Still, I'm very interested in hearing what they have to say, especially if it's a bad review, so is there any chance you could link me straight to the right page? Thanks very much!

I'd be more concerned about Fairlay owners being arrested for encouraging money launderers based on a recent thread showing they still allow people to deposit and withdraw without betting to hide their coin trail.

Or, ironically, Fairlay deciding you might be a criminal and deciding to just hold/take your money based on that hunch.

They are the real risks of dealing with Fairlay.
