    Completely Anonymous ... How??
Bitcoin and other crytocurrencies who were created to be decentralized, are anything but. I've never seen so much control on anything as of late.

So keeping in mind I'm a US Citizen, how do you do it? Where/how can I buy and sell in confidence with no reporting to government agencies?

As most if not all of the offshore sportsbooks that I use don't report (at least to the US Government pertaining to me.) How do I receive Crytos without any reporting from my account (I'm using Coinbase who I know for a fact does report.)

All in all, ... How can this be done?

depends on how much you mean. Instead of selling on coinbase go to gyft and just buy giftcards you need to use for everyday stuff. Buying can be done through atms but the fees are sometimes atrocious.

Only true way to stay off radar in America.. Bitcoin atms.. Fee around is around 6-10% to buy and 2-4% to sell.. Spend 50 at Walmart get a burner Verizon phone.. All Atms require phone verification.. Cashout for under 1500 and no ID required.. Saying that used to buy any burner phone. Cricket, Dial America and so on buy atms now say those are internet phones can’t be used. Crypto was invented by US government as easier way to track digital money..Its all a scam.. Best way to avoid anyone is with good ole hard American USD

why do you care about straying anonymous? unless you are moving big money, washing or other illegal it really does not matter. there really is no true way even with the ATM outside of the pre paid phone and that I am nor even sure of with today's technology. Best thing is cash out with bitpay pre paid card remember taxed income can not be taxed twice and if you have a job or any doc source of income bitpay is no different then any pre paid that millions use like green . , bluebird ect

Difference is bitpay card is tracked.. 100% correct you can’t be double taxed.. Loading 20 k on it over course of year when you only make 30k will draw Suspicion .. Which opens up whole can of worms of fraud, money laundering and tax evasion.. Literally sucks people are sheep and all went to BITCOIN method of deposit.. Doing this gave all the power to the books.. Never a good thing

Bitcoin has forced books to make faster payouts. How is it easier to hide checks than bitcoin?

Bitcoin did one thing for books.. Gave them all the power.. Once the btc hits the wallet never getting back, even if slowed paid cheated or wronged..

Various reasons to stay anonymous, mainly because I'm disabled Vet and trapped in the system. I want out but the only way to do it is to not being reported to the IRS. If I make or report the slightest amount over I can lose what the VA fought so hard for me to get. I'm basically declared medically unable to work so if I don't make money outside the system I'll be stuck in it forever.

Once again, because I use Coinbase. Them among others all report you BitCoin holdings to the IRS.

you can buy gold/silver on apmex for bitcoin then sell locally to bullion dealer for cash. as long as its under 10k it wont trigger "terrorism" flags and they claim they dont report to irs

I guess it all depends on how much the employees care about doing their jobs correctly but I'd say that in person at a casino. It's ironic when you think about it.

I can't remember the last time they asked me for my ID either depositing or at cash out in person. I've bet in Vegas, Iowa and Mississippi sportsbooks before in person. Never asked for ID when betting or cashing out. However was asked for ID by doorman when entering casino property. So if they needed to they know who I am but the sportsbook window people have no clue who I am.

Idk how anonymous the btc atms are anymore. Last time i used one it wanted all kinds of info. ID scan, email, address, phone # etc.

Some good suggestions here. Buying BTC is never the problem. It's the cashing out part where it gets sticky...

Small amounts spread out over gift cards/exchanges/local bitcoins/Bitcoin ATM's probably won't raise too many red flags. Larger amounts make it a lot tougher. Just an email address by itself can traced to its owner.

The above link explains the difference between short term gains and long term gains. Most people don't have time to hang onto their crypto gains for 1 year to qualify for long term gains before cashing out but if you could, you can legally cash out up to $39,375 with zero taxes provided you have no other sources of income. Any other income subtracts from that number.

The Wasabi wallet is an option. It has it's own built-in mixer (CoinJoin). However, it is complex and carries a steep learning curve. One would need to spend quite a bit of time learning how to use it correctly. If you have the time, research its features and check Youtube for tutorials...

The USA is, I think, making a mistake by over-regulating and unfairly taxing crypto. Crypto = the competition. Other countries are a lot looser letting their populace "fool around" a bit...

One option that has not been mentioned here yet is Bisq.

Bisq is a stand alone application for buying and selling Bitcoin and other crypto currency in P2P. It is also decentralized and not owned or controlled by any authority.

It is not as fast as just using a centralized exchange like Coinbase or Kraken and there is a bit of a learning curve involved before you can use it.

But believe me it is well worth the effort.

It is very focused on privacy and this is where it leaves the centralized exchanges like Coinbase for dust.

You can buy and sell Bitcoin for Fiat currency anonymously.

There are a few videos on Youtube which explain how it works.
They also have a website with some good information and documentation and a forum to chat on if you need help.
                            https://bisq.network

They are also on Twitter https://twitter.com/bisq_network

Please note that I am not affiliated with Bisq in any way, I just use it and wanted to share it with people on here as an option to buy in or cash out of Bitcoin with some privacy.

I have taken the time to learn to use Bisq and I would never use a centralized exchange again. Take a look and see what you think and if you get stuck just visit the forum and ask for help. They are a friendly community.

                            Good Luck

Something I've also been doing recently. Works best in states with no or little sales tax though. Apmex also charges quite a bit over spot unless you are buying a lot.
