    Cashapp btc amount problem
Anyone know why when buying btc I cant choose a custom amount to buy any more? I can only use the slider to choose their default amounts 100, 250, 500 etc. I used to be able to type in the amount I wanted

They changed it around but on my app there are three dots ... , if you touch that you can choose an amount.

I don't have 3 dots just the slider. I used to be able to click on their default dollar amount and press delete and then type any amount in but when I click on the number nothing happens

Nvm just figured it out...you have to slide the screen all the way up and it makes a full screen where u can then enter any amount

Are they okay with any amount? I wanna buy around 3-4k usd in bitcoin to send to a wallet to put into a book. We feel confident about bitcoin doing that? Or should I play it safe and go elsewhere like coinbase or some other place? This is my first big bitcoin purchase and transfer so I want the easiest method possible. I'll be buying the bitcoin via CC, BTW. Thanks!

They will shut you down for any amount. They banned me for buying $20 at a time. I'm sure they have limits and $4000 seems kind of high. They are the cheapest place to buy from though.

Why? What is the appropriate way of buying to not get banned?

I wish I could tell you. I used their service for about a month. I would buy small amounts a couple times a day and send to a middleman wallet and then to book. Out of nowhere they shut my account down and refused to give me an answer why. It made no sense to me. It's happened to others also. I guess I'm just unlucky. I'm not saying don't use their service just be aware they can shut you down for no reason.
