Lost $108 on a $600 bitcoin deposit. HOW?

I went from shakepay to heritage. From the time I bought the bitcoin to the time I transferred it to heritage the price of bitcoin did not fluctuate. How is it possible that I lost 108 in this process. I'm new to this and don't know how this is possible.

Can u post the transaction ID? Heritage is very fair w rates from my experience so that would not be the issue....im not familiar w shakepay and fees associated

But you could just copy paste the transaction id or bitcoin address you sent to. Thats enough.

Shows the exact value of the bitcoin at the moment it was sent to Heritage was $447.75

Any chance that is not the right transaction ID?

Not sure how it ended up being $492 for you.

Why is it saying Bitcoin is worth over $13000 there??

That rate sounds wrong and would account for loss maybe

I think I figured it out. Does heritage accept Canadian funds? So they took my bitcoin and once heritage received it. They converted it to American. Is that possible?

I still don't know where that extra 55 dollars came from because the conversion from 600 to American is 447 now I have 492 for some reason.

yes they only work in US$

I dunno what went on, but google is telling me

Heritage automatically adds a 10% bonus when I make a deposit. That's one thing I really like about them. Really dislike new betslip menu. Bring back old one as a classic option.

Im getting used to it and its not all bad.. change always sucks....my biggest beef is available balance does not auto refresh and pending bets I have to click on each one and when you have like 20 open it sucks...plus on my IPad the desktop version loads like crap

If you have the -105 Vig.... you can't take the 10% bonus. Depends on what Vig you have. Different options at Heritage.

I knew what the problem was as soon as I saw the thread title.
Heritage only deals in $USD and Shakepay is a Canadian based crypto exchange that uses $CAD as the base currency.
So $600 CAD is approx $450 USD.

There was no issue at all here, juvunits was mistaken, it happens.
