How many bitcoin wallets have you lost?
Just found two old ones going back to 2013 with a little cash in them. Have 3 more that I'm trying to figure out.

Raiders, this is a topic I need to learn more about.

I'm technologically-challenged. The idea of losing a password + being frozen out just rattles my brain.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Over the years, back when bitcoin was $100/btc and was involved daily at bitcointalk.org, I created many wallets (probably 50+). I know for a fact there is at least 0.03 btc between all of those accounts ($3 back then). Sadly do not have access anymore as they were 2fa / random passcode generated. Anytime I have thousandsth left (say 0.004 btc), I didn't bother with it since it was $0.40 back then.

Definitely no lost wallets with 0.1 BTC or anything like that but definitely a few hundred now left over spread among several lost wallets.

It's very frustrating. If you lose both password and 12 word recovery phrase or seed, you are out of luck. Back in the day the phrase could be longer than 12 words.

I wrote down the words but unfortunately my handwriting is so bad, to go along with ink smearing, I can't figure out all the words to two wallets. I may have even missed some words. Definitely rookie mistakes when first starting out.

It's easy to get the wallet identifier if there's an email attached and you know the password.

I did the same. Still have the identifier to 3 of the wallets but there are definitely more.

just happen to watch the season 10 Big Bang all about the guys mining these new coins coins many years in the past for fun, forgetting about them, then now remembering they did trying to find the lost bit coin wallets on various laptops etc . had some funny flashbacks, and twists and turns, was a pretty funny (for later big Bang anyway) episode.

Raiders, that's one thing I've found out. Crypto is an educational process.

Luckily, no bad stories YET. But I'm not a super-organized guy. Details like passwords drive me nuts.

Things to think about it. In the mean-time, I sweat the daily swings.
