I took a 5-figure bitcoin payout from a sportsbook, had it sent to my bitcoin wallet, and then initiated a large sale. My bitcoin wallet contacted me and told me they want to talk to me, and know the source of the funds, before the sale will be completed and the funds will hit my account. In the meantime, I don't have access to that funds or the bitcoin. My question is, when I talk to them (assuming that's my only course of action), can I tell them the truth? Or will saying the source of the funds was a sportsbook payout cause issues? Thanks!

#4Gee I bet everyone who took their offer of free Stellar in exchange for ID info will regret it when they read this post.
I have not seen anyone else quizzed by them before so could only guess how they will react.
Other exchanges usually tell you to transfer your bitcoin out and close your account when it comes to gambling. Let's hope they are the same.
Here are their terms. Make sure you understand them before speaking to them so you know what they dont want to hear.

#11I had to give gemini like 17 things verifying my identity including weird selfies of me holding i.d cards and codes written on paper. After all of that b.s they told me I'm not allowed to sign up with them. I have no idea why fuk them. Maybe it's because I cursed them out every time they asked for something else. I don't get it. These places ask for more i.d than banks do.Comment -
