Can I send funds from sportsbook directly to my BitPay wallet?

I have a BitPay secure bitcoin wallet downloaded onto my computer. Use it to send funds onto my bitpay card. When getting a payout from 5Dimes, do I need to send the funds to a "middle wallet", like my blockchain wallet, or can the request be sent directly to my bitpay wallet address?

Sure you can.....but then you are risking losing the best thing ever...not worth the few cents in savings and extra half hour

Can you explain? Do you mean risking the loss of the BitPay wallet because the payout is associated with a sportsbook?

It's against their terms of service to use them for transferring gambling money.

I think plenty of people ignore that and don't get penalized. But some have lost their accounts.

One other reason you really "should" use a wallet you fully control at one end of every send you make is so if anything ever does go wrong, you are always a direct party to the transaction and not have to try and work as middleman between a book and bitpay about where funds are or get transaction info.
