Been awhile since I used Bitcoin. Just wasn't real comfortable with it, especially around the start of the new year when things were going haywire and it was taking forever for most of the bitcoin transfers.
Anyway, I'm back to using bitcoin again. Want to withdraw from 5dimes and have the money put into my coinbase account so that I can forward it to my banking account. Is going from sportsbook to my blockchain wallet to coinbase still a safe and reliable way to go? Do I need to use something other than blockchain as a "middle man," or do I need to send it to more than one source / wallet before going to coinbase? I simply went sportsbook - blockchain - coinbase in the past, but generally for smaller amounts and only on a few occasions. Hoping things are still this simple.
Secondly, I have a bitpay card which I haven't used in well over a year. I was confused when they enacted the whole "you have to use a specific wallet" rule, something about a certain protocol, etc. Again, I had transferred bitcoin either from sportsbook to blockchain to bitpay, or simply sportsbook to bitpay in the past. How is it done these days.
Sorry for what are probably very repetitive questions for most of you, but I am just looking for the latest info. Bitcoin can be a true blessing for offshore wagering, but at the same time if can be a nightmare (I learned firsthand) if things aren't done correctly.
