It's only about 5 bucks a month for a reliable one if you pay by the year. I would not take the risk to save that much.

I will be investing in one so I'll report once I figure...Opera browser was the free one I was using but now only allows picking for regions not specific countries on desk top version....On my Ipad though it still allows to pick country so that's strange....I need one that I can use on a few devices...

Swordsandtequila might be able to help with a way around this?

But PIA appear to be saying people cant be trusted with the function as the reason for no support.

                        .

Not sure what you're trying to accomplish, but if by whitelist you mean not having to confirm (by email, etc.) a particular site every time you log in (while using vpn) then this link will help. I'm on a mac so I use tunnelblick in conjunction with PIA to set a static ip for certain regions. Once whitelisted on site "A" I'm good to go.

I use AVG VPN which has information here. Performance is pretty fast, and I use this in my Mac, iPad and phone.

AVG is owned by Avast. Way too many previous issues with Avast for them to be considered.
