    coinbase is bugging me....again
they sent an email few days ago saying they suspect gambling activity is the purpose for the funds going in and out
would problem be solved if I open a blockchain account and have funds sent there first, then bitcoin, then bank account, or vica-versa?
How the hell could they tell with millions of addresses going back and forth?
I am a novice just few months into this bitcoin stuff so any help public or privately deemed would be appreciated.

No point anymore to bother with coinbase if you don't have to. Other ways of dealing with bitcoin that don't cause even the slightest headache.

Just dont have the time to comb this forum page by page, thank you.
In the US, just need a solid hassle free way of getting bitcoin in and out of books and bank accounts.

Yes, using blockchain would help but if you are on their radar they can still determine if you are gambling. They seem to be asking you to not be so obvious about it. Using another bitcoin provider is another option.

can you please tell me a few providers that dont give this hassle that they do?
Ones that just take the goddamn funds when withdrawing, and pay your bank when you ask for it.

I am using Gemini myself. Others use Glidera and Airbitz. You can still use Coinbase if you just set up blockchain but might want to get setup elsewhere just in case they drop the bomb on you.

              1) just answer their question by saying you are trading it or buying stuff. They are not the police and don't want to drive you away but they have to ask if it you become tied to an address IDed as belonging to a book.

If you have been sending direct from Coinbase to and from books, in contravention of their terms, you set yourself up for this. Imagine they ID just one wallet from another customer telling them or maybe doing a transaction themselves. Then they follow those coins and if they find them consolidated in a major wallet every address they see in their system that has sent to one of those addresses is flagged for the email you got. Whereas if you had used a blockchain.info/wallet as the middle man the book wallet address will not show up in their system as you spending/receiving from it. They would have to look at your account individually to trace it.

              2) gemini.com and itbit.com provide a service most similar to Coinbase as alternatives.

Just when u use coinbase send it from there in and out to some other exchange first. Blockchain may still not be enough if they already asking u questions.

If you've already received an email from Coinbase... chances are your acct will be closed very soon. I would start looking for another provider like Buffalo Nickle just mentioned in this thread.

Once you're on the radar... very few come off of it... if you get what I'm saying.

                      Basically... this is the equation...

                      1. Provider to Blockchain

                      2. Blockchain to sportsbook.

If you're asking for a payout...

                      1. Book to Blockchain.

                      2. Blockchain to provider (or wherever you need it to go.)

                      Good Luck.

I would suggest using itbit. I sent a wire to them at 9am on Monday and it arrived and was ready for use by 10am. I would still use an intermediary though. Like Poloniex or Blockchain.

If this works reliably and Circle are happy about it, I like the sound of that system.

I think it might draw less attention if you dont use coinbase for both withdraws and payouts, and also its suprising that circle still allows you to have bitcoin sent to them, i swear either they have no clue or they just dont care, i remember asking customer service twice about why they still allow you to recieve bitcoin and they had no idea what i was talking about
