It was due to an outage at Amazon Web Services (AWS) that affected half the internet yesterday.

Optional is correct: there were tons of issues across the web from AWS s3 being down all afternoon on the 28th.

I bought coin 90 minutes ago, no problem. I initiated the transfer to my book and its been pending for 90 minutes. Something is wrong over there. Wish they had better support.

Yes but took 2 hours to show up on blockchain. And i don't mean confirmation I mean any record at all.

Thanks Kaabee. Sounds like a miner issue, maybe trapping transactions in their personal queue before writing them to the record.
