Thoughts on btc ATM cash out?

Anyone have any opinions on btc atm cash out? Do you use one of these without any government id (canada)? It would be a good alternative to coinbase if you dont want your bank potentially seizing your cash thinking it is laundered. I would think on a large payout you could have 5 wallets and max withdrawl each one?

I used one in NYC, didn't have to provide any ID at all. Just put in phone number, scanned the QR code with my AirBitz app, and that was it.

Do you have to use a phone app with these BTC ATM's? I haven't used a BTC ATM yet but I'd like too, just confused cause all of the tutorials I've seen have people using phone apps. So if say for example I have 2 BTC sitting in my blockchain acct. right now is there anyway I can walk up to a BTC ATM and get cash from that or do I have to send the BTC from my blockchain acct. to some mobile phone app acct. first?

I think you need a mobile app like Airbitz..I use Airbitz and have withdrawn twice from a Bitcoin atm. You just type in the amount you want, and a QR code will appear, and using Airbitz on your phoneyou just scan it and send the Bitcoin that way.
