    Yep, exactly

Yeah it's just like any other prepaid debit card like ******** or ********. The only difference is you can load it with bitcoin.

And also, if you click on the "Fees and Limits" link at the bottom of the Bitpay card's page...it says the card is actually a "pre-paid" ****...

I assume this is a positive, as it is not tied to a bank account and such...

    Thoughts?

Have been using European analogue from spectrocoin for two months. It works exactly as stated in the subject. Moreover, bitpay is one of the biggest bitcoin companies, and I am sure – this will be good option to use your BTC directly for shopping or getting cash.

Curious if any one has tried it. There were a few in the past that were scams. They would never send the card and the websites disappeared. This one seems legit though. This could make getting cash from bitcoin 100 times easier than it is.

Just trying to track down all the terms/fees for people:

Purchase card for $9.95 in btc and will arrive in 7-10 days
Purchase transactions free anywhere **** accepted (or uses **** processors like Paypal)
Deposits from btc wallets and employer (if you want to be paid salary in btc) free of charge
    ATM withdrawal fee $2 US / $3 Non-US, Limits: $3000/day, $750/atm

I can't find the cost of activating the card.

This is exactly what I have been waiting for. Sick of waiting days for bitcoin to hit bank account. It says bitcoin reloads are instant, that is the best part. Definitely getting one. Thanks for the info.
