Will the Los Angeles Dodgers Pay Off Saturday's Home Plate Umpire?
The Los Angeles Dodgers are currently -180 home favorites against the Miami Marlins, as they are spending more money than the U.S. government this summer. The franchise might want to use some of that cash in paying off home plate umpire Bob Davidson

    • Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw has a 13.06 ERA in two starts in his strike zone (6.2 IP, 11 ERA), which includes the shortest outing of his career on May 4, 2010
    • Marlins starting pitcher Josh Johnson has a 0.64 ERA in two career efforts with Davidson behind the dish (14 IP, ER)
    • Johnson is also a perfect 3-0 with a 3.46 ERA in four lifetime appearances at Dodger Stadium
    • Sports bettors will also find that the Fish are 13-5 in his last 18 outings as a road underdog

            the dodgers are crazy

taking on two of the worst contracts in baseball.

It's one thing to spend money, it's another to take on Beckett (washed up) and Crawford (past his prime and shut down for the season).

Should be an interesting game - like the first five innings more than the game itself
