well it has to happen (Miami waking up)..
..and avoiding a sweep is just recipe to wake the snoring Marlins.. Philllies really wanting the sweep... could make it a bit more of a "rock'em-sock'em" fest than it would normally.. and "7" is not a fence that's too high to climb..
Halladay has gone 2-1 with a 3.37 ERA in his five starts since coming off the DL but has allowed just four earned runs over his last three outings. He has also picked up his strikeouts of late and appears to be back on track after some early-season struggles.*
Buehrle has been in search of his 10th win for five starts right now, but he cannot seem to get over that hump. In five outings since earning win No. 9 July 14, Buehrle has yet to throw a quality start, with a 6.84 ERA and an 0-3 record. The biggest issue is that his usually pinpoint control has failed him at times, with just three more strikeouts (15) than walks (12) over a span of 26 1/3 innings.*
