He makes a few mistakes early and pays for it. He has command issues early as well. Tex and Ichiro, yes, Ichiro take him deep and his pitch count gets elevated like it always does and like the yankees do to most all starters.
Then the raggedy blue jays pen comes in and has to get 13 or so outs.
Garcia gets hit around by escobar and lind but gets into the 6th where david Phelps comes in and then Robertson hands off to Soriano.

losing paulino AND duffy was rough + sanchez turned out to be a gas can
if it wasnt for that horrible losing streak at the beginning of the season, kc wouldnt be last in the division
offense is solid imo, but ur pitching sucks
chen 5.51 era, hochevar 5.04 era, guthrie 6.10 era LOL, smith 5.48 era, mendoza 4.36 era -> what can the offense do, when the pitchers cant keep u in the game almost every time?
