Why would they throw at Ichiro?
When they played in seattle Ichiro got a hit in his first at bat as a yankee the crowd gave him a standing ovation.
As a team the M's are batting 172 vs CC with an OB% of 234 (mlb avg ob% is around 320) slg% 273(mlb avg 414 ) Conversely the NYY's vs Millwood batting 328 an ob% 395 slg % 522- Millwood has pitched two good games this year vs NYY but 3 would be a big stretch imo.Comment -

i know i'm jk about ichiro and these players on the Mariners don't give a fukk about Ichiro. Guy is from fukking Japan i'm sure most of these guys on the mariners never even talked to him. Besides they know they are not going to the playoffs with or without Ichiro.
But.... these young guys on the Mariners are playing well right now. won 7 games in a row. Normally you look at a last place team coming into Yankee stadium with big CC on the mound and you think ahhh this is an easy win for the Yankees.
Lets not forget CC got absolutely hammered in his last start. Yankees are without A-Rod, Texeria most likely, and have lost 3 out last 4 series.
Wouldn't be shocked if the Mariners win this series. King Felix on the bump tomorrow. And especially with the line so high tonight... Vegas could be winning big tonight.Comment -
