And...the Philly hitters figured they could just come in and play a C+ game and put forth C+ effort and still win. 9 out of 10 times this senario would result in a Philly win over the Cubs, but just not looking like it will pan out tonight.

i swore off Cubs games for the season a couple of weeks back in the third inning of Garza's start in DC when he came off the mound to throw a ball into the RF concessions. think of it this way: most days, there are 10-15 games - crossing the Cubs game off and calling that one for entertainment/shenanigans purposes only is so much less stressful than wagering on those tomato cans.
