1st off happy Fathers Day to all you dads that arnt deadbeat peaces of shit like my father was. Dont have any kids myself as im barely responsible enough to take care of me (wife been pushing tho).
ok on to baseball, since starting these interleague discussion threads i have made a small profit everyday so hopefully it can continue on to today.
STL -210, rl +110, 1st 5 -.5 ?. Most juice i have laid on a game all season and yes i am a homer. That said Garcia is a absolute monster at home, this season in 39 ip he has allowed 2 er with a whip well under 1 in his 5 starts (all stl wins), this is not just a coincidence (shout out to NC) Jamie has been pitching this way at Busch since his career began. Cards finally broke out of there free fall and arnt about to start another one in the rubber match against Kc.
Everything else just leans right now.
Sf-130. Like sf to avoid the sweep with their best pitcher atm on the hill, Cahill has gotten beat up lately and it shoudl only take 3 for sf to get the W.
sf/oak un7. think we should be able to get this number at some point during the day, at 6.5 most shops now with the over heavily juiced, think it worth paying the juice to get at 7 tho.
pit/cle un8. this series unders have been a gold mine for me, screwed around and played pit yesterday and lean that way again but why not go to the well one more time with this under?
phi/sea un 6.5 or 7. Hamels is pitching like a cy young contender, should make easy work of this sea offense. Vargas has been inconstant but like him to have a quality start in this one.
cin/tor ov 9.5. Can tor continue to shut cincy bats down? strange how low scoring this series has been yet they open this total at 9.5. I dont care what Arroyo's numbers are the guy is a implosion waiting to happen. Fireworks on fathers day here?
Hou +130. Lad playing like they dont know where their next paycheck is coming from (with good reason), Bud Norris has went from Cardinal killer to showing the rest of the world why he always beats down my team, the guy has very good stuff and when he is throwing stikes he is tough to beat.
Mil +102. something tells me Brew Crew tee off on the knuckler.
lots of leans im sure i will try and narrow down, just wanted to get the discussion going and see what we come up with.
