i mean really this sounds like a lineup for the royals and without utley and howard not hitting they are in trouble. Their pitching hasnt been dominant like we all thought they are going need to start hitting.

Here are some of the studs in the lineup tonight

    w. valdez,
    b francisco
    p. orr
    d. sardinha

Are you serious?? this is what the lineup could easily look like in a few weeks..

      victorino
      polanco
      utley
      howard
      rollins
      brown/ibanez
      mayberry/fransisco
      ruiz

back to one of the best lineups in baseball.... nothing they can do with injuries right now.. and with these injuries they still have the best record in baseball.. Howard is not getting pitches right now bc he has no protection... dont you worry.. how can you seriously post this nonsense?

i am talking about their lineup now. injuries happen but these are the players in their lineup tonight, so this is not nonsense.

you said phillies arent going to win this year, not tonight... either way, it should be 3-3 tonight if schneider didnt pull his hammy rounding third.. he would have scored standing up.

i agree with that, i have big money on the phillies tonight and lost last night on them, so i am frustrated with this game.

haha i dont blame you then... i would be wishing death on them all right now lol.. I have them over 96.5 for the season so every win is huge for me as well... sucks if scheider doesnt get hurt we are up 4-3 with Lee still in the game... oh well, we still got a good shot..

hate seeing kendrick in the ball game.. he is a starter, a below average one at that.. not a reliever...

marlins bullpen is horrid. i think mojica is the worst he has cost me two games this year. Their starters are hot this year but pen cant hold leads

First Five for the fish has been the only way to go. Can actually say that about most teams.

While their offense isn't producing as well as we are used to, they are still in first, with Utley and Oswalt on the DL, and Brown on his rehab assignments. They can be everything as advertised once they get healthy. Utley could be up with the team before the All-Star break. I know that he is doing some rehab assignment work, swinging the bat well, but he still has not and cannot field. That is going to be the biggest thing that holds up his return. Can't just shove him in the DH spot

Keep doubting the Phillies. Can't hit but still pitch? Ok, bet the under every game then. See if you come out ahead.
