    fantasy baseball trade help
    got this offer today

me giving: gaby sanchez, tommy hanson

    getting: kevin youkilis

    12 team mix league

    heres my team
    c: john buck
    1b: votto
    2b: pedroia
ss: yunel escobar (furcal on dl)
    3b: mark reynolds
    IF: dunn
    LF: cargo
    cf: rasmus, crisp
    rf: justin upton
    of: jason bay

SP's: josh johnson, hamels, hanson, marcum, pineda, delarosa

im seriously thinking about taking the trade. i may be getting the short end of the stick, but as you can see im good at SP so i can afford to give up hanson. i already have votto and dunn at 1b, so im also willing to give up sanchez. i could really use youk at 3b and bench strikeout king reynolds.

    what do you think?

That's a tough one. I'm always hesitant to give up good young pitching. If that's the best deal you can make and you think it's right for your team, go for it. I can tell you, though, Youk has been nothing but frustrating to me as an owner this year!

Even though you are deep I would not do it. Injuries ect. Hanson can be a #1 still very young as well as getting G. Sanchez young as well with a decent bat. Youk is a good player but aging fast. Is this a keeper league?

I would possibly do it. I don't love it, but I like it. It's pricey, but it's a nice upgrade in batting average from Reynolds to Youk. I think Sanchez will have a nice year and could drive in a similar number like Youk, but Dunn shouldn't suck forever?

I hope he frustrates you for at least one more week.

no doubt, im in the same boat with pedey. but youk is a career 300 hitter im sure he will pounce back. which is why i wanna buy now

hopefully i would be selling sanchez high... hard to tell if that guy is really that good, or just overachieving early
