They reviewed a home run and overturned it.

BS call, I think it was fair.

i like betting against the redsox not because they are bad, but because the games are still toss ups a lot of times and you get great odds if the other team wins.

I never would have thought this could happen. I guess it shows that no matter what, you can't just buy a championship. I know its not over and a long way to go. However, this crap and greed the players show by leaving for these high dollar teams makes me glad when I see them fail. Today I looked at the prices of Fenway Park Tickets on the Red Sox team site. Holly Sh%T, it's crazy. I could not see paying half that price for a decent team let alone the crap they are putting on the field currently. All this is doing is causing blue collar Midwest teams to drive up prices too. It is amazing how the rise of athlete salaries compares to inflation and rise in pay for "normal" jobs. I lose more respect for athletes every day. The NBA and NFL situation is not helping either. There has to be a point where there is a balance. I am not sure where or if it can happen. It seems that the family atmosphere has been replaced by big business buying tickets. The only alternative for blue collar families is to watch at home. Really depressing what money has done to sports the last 30 years.

tickets to some (kinda bad) teams are super cheap, like 10 bucks sometimes. like mariners and indians and marlins. but i hear what you're saying, the high profile teams are really expensive. if you get the baseball channels on cable and watch the mariners games there's lots of families and poor looking regular people. not to be argumentitive, just to cheer you up.
