Rangers SP -- David Bush

He did two things last year that deserve attention.

#1: He allowed back-back-back-back Home runs in the 4th inning of a home game to the D-Bags last year.

#2. He, in one-inning, allowed 9 runs to the Pirates. This was the first inning of a road game to boot.

I watched both of these events happen live, and thought it was amazing that he received paychecks from a pro organization. Now he is back, and I am betting his game Wednesday the only way I know how to. OVER-THE-TOTAL.

I saw this and thought it was a different Bush....... but yes folks, David Bush on the mound for the Rangers and the Detroit Tigers are only -128.......

If a man ever came to me and said...Holtgetsback..Pick one Major League pitcher to face..and if you hit a home run you win a million dollars..there is no doubt in my mind the man I would pick... it would be David Bush. I actually would have said Phillip Hughes because I would have concluded no MLB team would sign Bush after his last year with the Brewers... but now that the air is clear I choose DaveyBoy....

Not sure if his stuff has gotten any better....but Bushy clocks in around 85-87 with his fastball...his curveball runs about 64-66....the juiced up guns may read 89-90 but we know better over here...

Boy...if I was Jimmer Leyland.....I would light me a cigarette, tell the boys to wait on a good one and pour a little whiskey in my coke.......Hell they might let ol Jimmer go out there with a stick...wouldnt that be something???? a 70 year old man facing a MLB pitcher??? I would be willing to take 2-1 odds that he would put the stick on the ball.....maybe 1-1 if was a clear day and no shadows....

Hamilton's out, day game (getaway day for Rangers), Scherzer can dominate -- I don't know if I'd mess with the over here. Maybe DET TT over.

Over looks tempting but Scherzer is not so bad. Texas can score 4? Even if Texas scores 4, we need Detroit to score 6 in order to cash over..Leaning Detroit.

Yea but this is a Bullpen game for the Rangers.... We might see 4/5 different faces on the mound for Rangers.

Rangers will get their 3, and Detroit will take care of rest.
