I don't think so, nova could collapse sox fans want this victory and nova is perfect for a home game we'll see -150 is not attractive though

Now that the first one is out of their way, the Sox should feel relaxed, yet focused..Hitting vs Nova shouldn't be a problem..

Bucky has the nastier stuff, for sure, but I also like Nova's makeup, he's sort of like David Cone a little, bulldog mentality.
If the price is right, I may play NYY small.

I imagine this is because Boston backers are going to wait until close to game time

With that said however, I do feel there is something about Nova and his necessity to prove himself as a capable 3rd starter. Most likely a stay away game but I find myself itching to play NYY small like Steve said.

one win, dont be fooled public assesment on this game is one win will right the ship, on the contrary the yanks will bounce back today and as a underdog against a team that ultimately has struggled for the first week to a 1-6 record with that being said i can actually see the sox go down today and beat the yanks tomorrow and win the series and beat the yanks in a game there ace starts i see that as a game that can start there season off finally . win a game sabathia starts and it gives them renewed confidence , but dont be fooled today take the + money with one of the best lineups in the game against also bucholz who got knocked around in his first start

Red Sox look like the best play on the card today. They get two in a roll after starting slow out of the gate.
Better pitcher and lineup...Yanks win tomorrow though with CC on the mound.

Sox got to Hughes yesterday... and Hughes looked awful. I like the Yanks here.

Baseball has also been burying me which means the Sox are prob a lock.

guys... Bartolo Colon came in and struck 5 batters out and only have up 1 ER on 2 hits in 4 innings of relief. BARTOLO COLON!!!!

Nova has better stuff and can show these sox up. Especially since no one in the that sox lineup has faced him much.

the yanks have great success against Buchholz .. and they have faced him enough to get a feeling for his pitches. Cano could have a great day today.

I'd stay away if you want to play Boston. Especially at the hefty price tag. Yankees pay very nicely and are at a very good value. They just look more confident at the plate imo. Crawford looks awful and putting him at lead off spot only hurts the O.

Stay away or play the yanks.

a good understand of sabermetrics shows that buchholz was very lucky last year. his ERA was not a true indication of his pitching. he had a BABIP of .260 with is .30 to .40 percentage points less than average. he also had a homerun to flyball percentage of 5.5 which is almost 5 percent lower than the average of 10 percent for all pitchers. he is a good fade if the value is right and he continues to get over priced.
