would it be funny if lee goes 0-2 for the world series
considering he has a perfect post season record before the world series.

If he does he'll lose a couple million. Whats his postseason ERA after Game 1? I know before it was like 1.26

i like cliff lee and i dont see him going 0-2 in the world series. he's pitching at home this time so he should do fine. its not like he hasn't proven himself before, he was an ace for the phillies last year when they had no pitching

haha I hope he loses just for the fact that it might lower his asking price for his new contract and maybe the phils could pick him up again next year...Thats a stretch though seeings though the phils have very little money to go around for free agents!!

^ Of course it means something, are you crazy? That 70 cent difference on the other hand, is not only because of home field advantage.

for starters, win or your season is over...
half a week to study batters more with the catcher and get a better grasp on the pitches each one likes to see...

Dream on fellow Philly fan. They had him and let him get away. Big mistake.

Big Mistake? getting Halladay is not a mistake...We could have had them both the only big mistake was resigning Ryan "strikeout king of the city" Howard.

I'd rather have Lee in the rotation than Halladay. I'm sure plenty would disagree. Howard really was a dissapointment this postseason but he has been a good investment overall. Of course in a perfect world they could have Lee and Halladay which would have been the best, but I don't see how it could be done and keep the power lineup they have. Now they will probably lose Werth.

Yeah they should keep Worth but I dont see it happening even though he is very productive and good in the clutch

Im not a huge fan of Ryan Howard and never was!! Sure he hit 28 home runs and had 108 rbi's...But he never did well in the clutch and he is way to predictable...GUY LOVES TO STRIKEOUT!!

the book had no clue what he would do or cared what he did. they set that line because they knew people would be taking texas with lee in a game where can't lose 2 games in a row after his miraculous post season record. the market set that price not the books. anyone who knew what they were doing had the giants or the under. you don't lat -170 in a pick em game. lincecum is just as good as lee and the giants were hitting and playing better. if the line was a pick the books would get buried with one sided action.

Well, that seals it... Lee will be wearing the Yankee pinstripes next season, no doubt about it.
