Hey fellas, first time poster, long time reader.
I'm loving Oakland race to 3 tonight. The Seattle offense has been dreadful of late. Seattle's offense has not been able to score more than 3 runs in any of their last 15 games. In fact, in their last 13 games not started by Felix Hernandez, their race to 3 record is a miserable 1-10-3. They also have not been able to hit lefties, batting .240 against them on the season. They've only scored more than 3 runs or more 3 times in the last 10 games vs a left handed starter. Furthermore, Dallas Braden has been lights out against them in 2 starts, allowing a total of 2 runs in 16 innings.
Meanwhile, the A's have been hitting well at home of late, averaging a respectable 4.6 runs in their last 10 home games. Moreover, Doug Fister has struggled at home all season, and has an era over 6 in his last 5 road starts.
Overall, the race to 3 provides more value, with a high probability of winning.
Cheers
