He must have a new designer drug...2 hr's and 40 for the season in the year of the pitcher? Yeah right.
Toronto up 3-2 now!

I am convinced all of these guys having big years are on something. No doubt about it. Someone pisses for them or they have the new shit that cant be detected. Ortiz had a foot out the door. Guy was done. And now he is back to the old Ortiz. Bullshit.

something has to be up, didn't even hit 40 hrs combined the last three seasons.
For a player sometimes referred to as “Joey Bats,” Jose Bautista hadn’t exactly been an offensive stalwart prior to 2010. A 20th-round draft-and-follow-pick of the Pittsburgh Pirates back in 2000…
biggest difference is the amount of balls he's pulling, his numbers on balls hit to center the right are the same as they have been his whole career.

Just a guy on an up year, next year he will be down. Confidence is a factor also.
Dont by the hype, guys dont just start jacking homers late in their careers like this.

That explains now being on a winning team, not why he's hitting more homers. If anything he got much better pitches to hit as the 6th hitter for the lowly Pirates as opposed to batting 3rd on a quality team in the toughest division in baseball. He's def on something

Plus dont forget he plays 2/3 of his games in Toronto, New York, Baltimore and Boston. Home run havens for right-hand hitters. Just about everyone on Toronto is having a carrer year home run wise it seems. If anything the whole Toronto teams should be guilty.
From my count he has hit 23 at home and 7 at those above locations, meaning that is 30 of his 39.
I say no way he is on something. I wouldn't think you would have to be an idiot to mess around anymore with that stuff. He gets caught and he is doomed. Isn't it like 50 games or something these days.
What about a guy working hard and making some adjustments. Not like he is hitting .300 or anything to go with it. Guy was a true power hitter this year till he got hot just this past month. Was hitting around .240 or so a month ago. Just seems like an all or nothing guy who has really started to pull the ball a lot more.

These guys don't worry about being caught. they think they are invincible. plus if you can beat the system for one or two years like a gary matthews-5years55million you are set for life. once you get the money just cycle off and become a stiff. set for life.

Sorry don't agree. I just don't believe cause a guy hits a lot of home runs he is instantly on something. Just not much of a conspiracy guy, never have been.
Just don't believe that Bautista is the one guy who is all of a sudden beating the system. I guess until it's proven otherwise this is how I will believe for now.

They keep pitching the guy inside and on the middle-inside, he has a very fast swings that pulls the ball with an enormous strenght. Most people here don't watch baseball enough.

On a side note, hes a little bitch, went to argue with Nova about a pitch holding his bat, total queerbait.

Yep, that's one hell of an improvement if all you've done is take extra batting practice.

He's not on anything... he hasn't bulked up or anything. He just has a nice swing, and has learned to swing at the right pitches -- inside for him is key.

Eh -- he was a good guy with Pittsburgh -- but a right handed hitter has to hit it a mile there. I expected him to hit 25 with Toronto, but not 40 or 50.
