It's very sad the MLB is like this. I say about 90% of the time, the team that jumps out with the lead wins the game.
The players just give up knowing they have +100 more games left in the season.

Teams GIVE UP when they get down in the scoreboard, it's just a fact of MLB. It's too slow of a game for any momentum change.

Players don't give up, impatient fans might give up because it feels like nothing is happening, but comebacks happen in baseball just like every other sport.
If there is an argument that any sport is designed not to allow comebacks it's soccer because the teams can just put five men on defense and pass the ball around until times up. You can't avoid the batters in baseball you've gotta get 27 of them out whether you're winning or losing. Your argument makes no sense.
