    line movement on FLA/STL?
Anyone have an explanation for the heavy line movement in Florida's favor? As high as 20+ cents of line movement at some books. I like everything about St. Louis in this game...Wainwright pitching great right now (1 run or less in 6 of last 7 starts). Nolasco struggles at home with an ERA of nearly 5 at home. St. Louis are hitting the ball better than any team in MLB over the last week while Florida's bats have gone cold since they lost Cantu and Coghlan. St. Louis have the better bullpen. And some of St. Louis' best hitters have ridiculously great career numbers off Nolasco.

i was liking the cardinals in this one too, in wainwright's only bad start in his last 7, there were multiple little bloop hits dropping for RBI's for the Mets. I think he will continue to roll tonight

Wainwright has been anything but automatic on the road this year, going 4-6 with a 3.38 ERA in seven starts (the Redbirds are 4-7). And while Wainwright is a perfect 8-0 in day games, he’s a mediocre 7-6 at night.

But more than anything, I’m taking the plus money with the Marlins because Wainwright isn’t the only talented pitcher on the mound. Ricky Nolasco has been dealing lately for Florida, going 3-0 with a 2.38 ERA in his last three starts. In those three contests, he’s surrendered just six runs, 13 hits and four walks while striking out 22 in 22 2/3 innings. And going back to June, Florida is 7-1 in Nolasco’s last eight starts, and the right-hander has a 3.39 ERA in his last nine outings.

Finally, not only are the Cardinals three games under .500 when Wainwright starts on the highway, but they’re just 22-30 away from St. Louis this season, including 4-9 in the past 13.

The books are trying to screw with everyone to keep from getting killed by St Louis.

books are fuking wit u man, I am on cards tonight. Marlins can't hit right now and they especially can't hit good pitchers like Wainwright. Cards also are batting 346 vs Ricky.

While the Marlins' Nolasco is having a good season, he has struggled at home, going just 3-5 (3-6 on the money line) with an ERA of 4.99. He has also struggled against the Cards, going 0-2 (1-3 on the money line) with an ERA of 6.55 in 4 career starts against St. Louis. While the Cards have lost 7 of Wainwright's 11 road starts, he has carried a respectable ERA of 3.37 in those games. It's all a question of run support as he is the better starter in this matchup, and he should get it tonight. The Cardinals are 10-1 in his last 11 road starts vs. a team with a losing record. Plus, Wainwright is 3-1 (4-1 on the money line) lifetime against Florida with an ERA of 2.83. The Cardinals are 19-9 in the last 28 meetings in this matchup. Take St. Louis.

With all good things like that, why books make it even cheaper to back St. Louis

Fla got swept at home in their last series so looking for a win. Cards are too (they know the situation in the central race). Cardinals got a day off which they really needed. STL should be solid tonight.

Cardinals 3-6 hitters career numbers vs. Nolasco: 16-31 (.516). Pujols and Holliday a combined 13-23 (.565, 3 HR) alone.
