appreciate it. Bottom 9th was 1st and 3rd base runners with nobody out, and somehow Nationals didn't score, whew!

            Friday May 25

CHW WHITE SOX -0.5 +125 first five innings // 1 unit to win 1.25

            PLAYER PROP
            JOSH DONALDSON
+225 YES HOMERUN PROP // 1 unit to win 2.25
            +100 TOTAL BASES OVER 1.5 // 1 unit to win 1

This is a very low +plus odds number for a homerun prop. So the books seem to think he might hit one tonight. Word has it that the Phillies are possibly interested in trading for him, so Donaldson will be looking to impress tonight.

net +3.65 yesterday, Toronto had a big lead early but let it get close at the end and won 6-5 so didn't cover the runline.

Up +3.15 for the week, will do summary after Sunday's games

I'm staying away from Folty and Sale, due to weather as you say, and limited time anyway, it's about to be first pitch.

Looks like ATL BOS will go over ... who knows maybe they hold serve there at Braves 6-1. Funny how occasionally Sale is the one who gets blown up.

Classic over example of this season, scoring goes in the way least expected (Folty holds Boston to 1 run, Sale gives up a lot) ... and then the under is teased until Atlanta gets an extra "insurance" run in the top of the 9th, 7-1, to put it over 7.5. Ha

                                              yep

then in Colorado, Unders been coming in at a high rate

8-1 score late, Reds load the bases in both the top 8th and 9th WITH the good hitters on deck, but managed to score just one more.

As for White Sox losing 3-2, seems like the ol' forum fade only works when I don't do it. Every thread had Tigers, and mostly because of James Shields starting, but people don't realize he's much better this yea, been working with the pitching coach. He went deep into the game and gave up the winning runs late. Tigers starter Blaine Hardy was just better.

Terrible 0-for day. Not seeing much I like wirh the early games today. Guess I need to stick with high percentage boring picks.

White Sox scored a lot the day before, score nothing (which has been the problem), but usually the bad teams like they are end up getting hot and evening out how bad they've been. As you said, Shields is way better than what they think, even though long term he's no answer. They were fortunate, from a value point of view yours was the right play --- if you keep playing bets like that you'll win, and they'll lose, and not even that far into the long term.

Tuesday May 29 - late game

SAN DIEGO -164 ML // 3.28 units to win 2

starting pitchers Dan Straily at Tyson Ross, so why doesn't the line make sense??
I don't completely trust either of them, but when Ross is on he's pretty untouchable. Righties batting .142 against him so far this year
Surprisingly also righties just .128 against Straily

With this battle of the titans Marlins at Padres about to begin, pointing out the Padres at -164 right now are by far the highest favorite line they've been this year

April 28 they closed -140 favorite at home vs NY Mets, pitching matchup Jason Vargas vs Joey Lucchesi
                                                      Padres won 12-2

interesting comparison. Marlins not equal to the Mets. Vargas not equal to Straily. Or is he?
Padres gonna win, not sure if they cover runline.

Padres leading 5-4 into the bottom of the 8th, explode for 4 more runs and won 9-5 final. Runline was in question until then (although I opted not to play runline). In fact the game was in question in the bottom of the 6th they found themselves trailing 4-3 after not scoring since the bottom of the 1st. Hosmer led off the bottom 6th with a double, then makes a bonehead play with zero outs, trying to advance to third base on a groundball hit right in front of him to the shortstop, making him the first out of the inning at third base....Drives me nuts, don't understand how these highly-paid players do such stupid things. Fortunately, this rookie Franmil Reyes with his monster physique absolutely destroyed a ball for a deep homerun to grab the 5-4 lead....dude is a disaster fielding in the outfield though. Has a big swing too, so he can certainly do damage when he gets ahold of one, but it's not gonna happen often with his .176 average to prove it.

Eovaldi with a no-hitter into the bottom 7th, finally Oakland got a hit. Then a long fly-ball but it was caught.

Wind pattern blows out always in this stadium, the Oakland Coliseum. Somehow it's knocking down some fly balls tonight. Cool temperature might help explain.

Well it's 5-0 Tampa in the top of the 8th after a solo-bomb by Johnny Field (that's his name, plays Centerfield for Tampa) off the reliever.

alright 3-1 W/L tonight for +7.06 units, with the lone loss being that questionable Under pick in the Nationals game which Scherzer started. And it wasn't that I thought Baltimore pitcher David Hess would be awful, in fact he's looked decent a couple games now. But Scherzer got hit in his last game at Miami, plus the warm humid weather tonight in Baltimore is what influenced me more than anything in that hitter-friendly ballpark. Scherzer does give up the longball even when having a good game. But the final score was 2-0 Washington, so not even close.
