Let's see what the community can do when we all put on our thinking caps. For starters, when comparing both Ace's:

Pro's supporting Josh: Johnson's fastball is gaining velocity....was hitting 94 mph last game--an improvement from
his other starts.

In his last outing, his offspead had a nice break and he was able to consistently locate it
down in the zone.

Pro's supporting Johan: he did get rocked in his last outing, but it was the second time he faced the Braves and
two of the extra base shots in the second, were fortunate hits...right down and just
inside the line.

Cons for Johnson: he's coming off 107 pitches, though he has had an extra day of rest. His stuff is not
overwhelming and he has yet to k 5 or more batters. Against goood righthanded contact
hitters, he's giving up multi-hit games. Castro, Barney, Pence, etc. Could be a big day for
Wright, Turner, Tejada, and Bay.

Cons for Johan: Shell of his former self. Hard to know what he's truly capable of doing. Fastball topping out
at 90. Most fastballs are upper 80s. Lot's of contact type pitches and Mets' D is not stellar.

Lot's more to add. At work. Can't concentrate. Share your thoughts...maybe analyze offenses, BP, etc.
