I can say I miss your contributions to the forum as I am sure many others do, so it's time to get back in.
I'm tinkering in the background. Props have come around some. Tonight I'm playing:
Rich Hill u5 strikeouts +115
He had only gone over 5 Ks once this season and has been under 5 in 4 of his 8 starts. The Mets don't strikeout a bunch (7.79/game, #12), but that number does go up to 8.85 against lefty starters, so there is a little area of concern there. Hill has had blister issues this season and has not pitched more than 5 innings all season. Hoping that continues tonight.
Like I said ... tinkering.

Ugh. Hill struck out the side in the 4th after loading the bases with no outs. Ugly loss.

Col/SF over 7.5 looks high even without the reliever angle.
Would you mind sharing your thoughts on that game a bit deeper DD?

The relief staffs pitched 146 and 105 pitches yesterday and 264 and 253 the last 3 days.
SF closers are rated below average and Col is just average.
The bullpen ERAs are 4.43 and 4.60 for all games and combined 7.11 home/away ERA
The only factor that at times keeps me off a play is Samarzija averages 102 pitches per game but, Marquez averages only 89.9 pitches per game so I feel that more than offsets the 102 pitches.
Remember the Reliever Plays are just about the Relievers.

The 17MPH wind to centre might help offset this terrible hitters park a bit?

Though not figured into the Reliever Plays, you are 100% correct, plus the the humidity is on the high side (77%) and that's a plus.
