#1542Good morning,
One thing I have decided for the rest of this season and future seasons, NO MORE RELIEVER PLAY UNDERS! The main reason is if the starter(s) are crap and get rocked, the best relievers in the world can't take runs off the scoreboard. Whereas, if the starters are on their game, and give up just a few runs, the relievers can come in and get rocked enough to take the game over. Therefore, no more under Reliever Plays
DD
I've been playing with the thought of opening an account at BM, specifically for this type of bet but it is no longer an option for me. Some bets are just designed to be taken only one way.
Keep up the great work DD. Really enjoying this thread!Comment -

#1545I think this makes a lot of sense. Even playing just the second half on an under-reliever play could still be problematic. Assuming an SP gets shelled in the first and the team goes to the pen early, using an RP or two in the first five innings would take arms away from the final four innings.

#1550Sorry about that, by "lines being above" I obviously meant below. My bad. These are the lines/totals I am looking at right now. Something major would have to happen if they fail to qualify.
Cardinals, -6.0 47.0
Colts, ATS -3.5 51.0
Falcons, ATS -3.0 47.5
Saints, ATS -1.0 51.0
Falcons
Saints
Chiefs
Colts
The Arizona line is currently -9, which would disqualify it.Comment -

#1557Don't sweat it. Just wanted to make sure I understood. Line moved when a rink was ruled out. Probably an overreaction if you ask me.Comment -

#1558No Solder at LT, no Vollmer at RT (he's gone for season already), no Cooper at RG. And a QB making his first NFL start on the road against a great front seven.
I was a big fan of AZ -6, but I could not play it as a Pats homer! I bleed Pats silver, so not gonna root against my own money or my own team, so just laid off. However, at +9.5 or +10, I start to think Pats... but let's get closer to gametime and see what's what.Comment -

Personally I don't like playing unders when laying a lot of points on a Favorite.
But I do feel it takes 2 teams competing to make an Over happen assuming there isn't much funny things happening like turnovers on wrong side of field, defensive scores, and big returns on special teams.
Cards and Under my advice here for those of you who wanna take a chance on a parlay.
Play both straight if you want action. You will break even on it at least.
Or if you want to be in between that I would If bet Cards with 2nd leg being Under.
Friends don't let friends do a teaser.
A system like this should not lose 4 in a row.
Thanks for the season this year DD, just give back any way I can for your thread.Comment -

#1561Good morning,
Well, it's time to pack it in for the season. Yesterday was a disappointment since three of the games were on track early for hitting the over and the relievers pitched out of their asses. That said, we end the regular season 478-343, 115 more winners than losers, plus 83 units based on an average price of the Reliever Plays of -113.5 per game. Those 83 units are based on one unit per game, not 5 units here and 10 units there, just 1.
I will be starting a NCAAF total thread and an NFL total thread for those interested. It will be very limited amount of games. Also, I will be posting some Regular Play totals in the MLB playoffs for those interested.
I want to thank everyone for their support and input throughout the season. My only wish is I could have ended this with a plus day, and I apologize for that. May everyone always have good luck!
