no player will give up big money to help team contend for a championship. no one is in it to win a "championship". if the chance for one comes along they get into the flow, but do you think the sacramento king or boston celtic players are thinking championship chances or are they just concerned with holding their roster spot and getting paid. the nba is a circus that people pay big money to see oversized and overpaid athletes play a game that isn't really that difficult if you have above average athletic skills or size.
