I've said it a million times on here: the chase is what gets us. The action. What you should concentrate on is turning a small profit every day. $20 a day on average is over $7,000 a year. $20. That's it. Sounds easy, but we all get caught up in chasing/doubling down/going for broke from time to time.
I honestly think if you do this as anything other than a light-hearted hobby, you're in for the kind of long-term pain and misery you're describing.
