    Serious problem with Betway payout

    Hello everyone,

I've been playing it into several companies over the past three years. I never had a problem. But during the last days something very serious happened with BetWay.

I hope that this serves you as an advice, do not use this bookie.

On April 1, I deposited 500 Euros in my account. During these four months and a half I have been making bets without any problem and normally.

On Sunday August 15 I request a payout of my winnings (€ 2,453). On Tuesday 17 I received an email where Betway told me that I shared the same environment with another user, and for this reason they keep my money. Betway told me the username related to me and I do not even know that username.

They said the decision was final and that I could not do anything about it. Betway doesn't tell me the relationship they found between me the other username. I particularly placed all my bets and have not participated in collaboration with anyone.

Besides, even I'm not sure if I enjoyed his bonus (€ 20). My account is blocked now and i can not verify this. Apparently the bonus is not a problem and they must have financial problems to take such measures. They took advantage of "Share environment" to steal my money.

They are supported in their unfair rules: 1.3 Refusal to Register, deregistration and Exclusion. https: / / betway.com / help / terms-conditions

In summary, they can stay with your money at any time without giving any reason. Honestly this kind of conditions I do not think are legal

I am very concerned with this and I want to do everything possible to recover what is mine. For me it's an enormous amount of money. I've won this with a great effort for more than four months.

I want to report this to the police and the regulator of Malta (LGA). Please if anyone can tell me what else to do. I want to do what is necessary, even if I incur in costs.

I'll keep this thread updated with any new, negative or positive.

Thank you for your time and help.

"Betway told me the username related to me and I do not even know that username."

Would be a bit stupid to sign up with a similar username if you're trying to open a second account to avoid limits.

Did you file a Complaint form?

I never had problems with betway, but I don't bet there any longer.

However, it seems to me that this "shared enviroment" issue is getting more and more serious and the bookmakers are starting to abuse us with this "rule". Betoto never gave me back my money due to the same reason. My friend had the same issue with stryyke. Looks like it's time to forget all the donk bookies and only stick to the 100% safe and secure, where we won't be cheated.

Share enviroment is a big issue for some bookies that are paranoid about bonus abuse.
I dont see you getting your money because it in must bookies rules.

reasonably a book needs to provide proof though. a book can't just confiscate your money because of a supposed shared IP, but refuse to give any evidence.

    Betway

The operating of multiple accounts is fraudulent and this is something we take seriously at betway.com. To detect players who abuse our Sportsbook in this manner, we use advanced fraud detection software. This helps us to gather solid evidence relating to the fraudulent activity and accurately pinpoint players who operate multiple accounts.

Our stance on this matter is clearly stated in clause1.3 of our terms and conditions and any player caught violating this clause with have their account blocked. Our terms and conditions also state that in the case of a duplicate account being discovered and closed we will refund the original deposit minus a 10% handling fee.

We’d like to point out that the vast majority of our Sportsbook customers enjoy our site legally and we are committed to providing a platform where honest players can enjoy sports betting in a safe and secure environment.

LOL. You could detect the vast majority of this shit on signup, but it's way more profitable to let them deposit, keep their money if they lose, and steal it if they win. A++ would run this scam again.

    Hi all again

First of all, "Betway" I think that you don't know what you're saying or you are not informed of my problem.

I have only one account. I have acted honestly using my account and they are stealing my winnings. The problem is that apparently "Share Enviorment" has coincided with another user. I insist that I don't know this user. Anyway even if I knew this user is not justifiable. For Betway if you go to a friend's house and make a bet, they can steal money of both users.

Do you think that this is legal?. I think that all judge would give me the reason in this case. Rules are unfair and they can't steal more users. I will do whatever is necessary to do justice to this.

Amazingly this has coincided the day that I requested my withdrawal (after more than 4 months using my account). For this reason I believe Betway have financial problems and are taking these excuses for not paying customers.

I have already contacted the relevant agencies and I will not stop until you see the money in my account.

first, thanks for appearing here. this is good step towards building credibility.

"shared environment" is a very loose term perhaps. would a player qualify to "shared environment" if he logs on while on his travel in the hotel, or public Wifi spot, for example?

i don't have account at BW because "shared environment" seems to be reported very often in connection. i hope aggreviated player is receiving fair treatment.

I wonder why they didn't "detect" it until 4.5 months later, when the player asked for a payout?

Betway dude states "advanced fraud detection software"
Looks to me they are having a free ride @ taking players funds without an intention to pay out + they also have a right to close your account without any explanation . Pure theft !
    Crooks and scums .

How nice of Betway rep to show up here !!!
All he did copy and paste scam rule !
We are these and that , and it's all good (we just stole funds on our 1.3 rule) .Who hire this people ? Never mind hiring them ! Letting them post on open forum on behalf of company is even worst .
    Shame .

    This book is garbage

I sent the usual mail to them, that i wanted to register at you (i did not want of course), and deposit, but fortuntatly I have read about you on SBR, i am lucky that you can't steal my money, bla bla ...

They replied with this : "1.3.4 Should any player be found to be involved in, or should we suspect any player of being involved in, match betting or arbitrage betting, We shall be entitled, at our sole discretion, to withhold all funds due to You and/or de-register and exclude You and/or suspend You as a player on any or all of the Websites."

Little problem, that it's not on their page... there is no 1.3.4 rule, only 1.3.3, the next is 1.4.1... and how they detect if somebody arbs? And at all, why do they punish if somebody wants to arb? (but only idiots would arb on this page)

cannot agree more, if one is asking why is Betway D- their rep jus answered it him self in this thread, they have an "advanced" fraud detection software that detect only when the player ask for a payout.

I requested a payout 3 days ago and they called me that if I will cancel it, they'll give me a casino bonus. I refused and today they asked me for 2 documents because of their casino. They're trying to delay the payment as long as they can.

Accusations w/o evidence, classic move by dihonest sportbooks. Stay on them until they pay you every penny. Plus the time and effort you put into this case lol.

Dont deposit to Betway. Few months ago I got limited after 3 wagers. Got them on their late NBA lines. They limited me to 1 eur per bet right away. I managed to withdraw my winnings but i didnt take any bonuses so they had nothing on me. 3 or 4 days later one of their agents calls me (not mail, but phone call) if i would like to take this super promo action they have "specialy for me" and deposit 500 eur for 20% bonus or some shit like that. I told him i am limited to 1 eur at his "Betway" and he never called again. I think they also have financial problems overthere.

Now imagine situation few other players notice they have -7,5 instead -9 at some NBA game. Lines are moving, their bookmakers are sleeping and when you win you are "sindicate player" or "account related" or any of the BS they have full bag of in their T&C.

Yesterday i placed moneyline pregame bet on NY Knicks at +505 at Pinnacle. As i know how Miami plays i covered my wager in 3rd quater at even odds on Miami taking few hundred bucks sure money. I did my second cover bet also on Pinn on that same account (you dont have to have double accounts on Pinn). You know what Pinn said? Nothing, as every time. They know what are they doing and dont give a damn about me.

You know what would happen if i did that at Betway or some similar sorry ass book? I can guarantee you would get your account closed and money confiscated. At the end, if all books were operating as Pinnacle there would be no SBRforum or anything similar.

Stay with the best books and your money is safe as Swiss bank. That is how i feel at Pinnacle.
