I am looking forward to these games after the results from yesterday. They usually bounce back. I agree with you on there being many picks, but I have hit a few parlays from them sweeping with a 7 or 8 pick ticket. As far as rating their picks, I'd have to agree with you on that too. I am left with playing all picks the same and leaning more heavily on the ones I agree with most. All in all, I can't complain because these guys seem to have found the 'Back to the Future' sports almanac. Their freaking win % is off the charts.

Good call on that Mariners game Trap. I am with you all the way with that Rockies r/l. I have not seen anybody playing on the Lakers. This service is the only one playing on L.A. that I have seen so far. I think I am definitely going to play the under 192.5 Will put some action on L.A. if I don't find any major trends that would contradict that pick. Let's get'em

obviously you hate that fact...its such a garbage way of presenting picks from a professional handicappers.
They give u a pick at -140 for example, and in their books it goes down as one loss, without units, they are not being held accountable for that extra 40 cents juice...

That is a great point. I guess they don't record the units because they don't use a unit management system. The only thing I can think of is that they are just making the picks and leaving the money management up to the customers. Not the best way to help the customers, but I guess they overcome this flaw by clearing a high %. As far as the -140 bet example, what about a +140 dog? They don't give themselves credit for this overflow either. From the looks of it, it seems as though Comppicks can truly pick winners. I just feel as though they should hire someone to help with their Bio and their Overall Mission Statement. They need to improve upon their methods of showing their worth by incorporating a unit management system, or at the least, setting up a rating system on their picks.

How do they manage the units? If someone bets the favorite on a -200 game and declares it a 2 unit play and you are a 100 dollar player, does that count as 4 units or 2 units? because if it doesnt win you lose 400 which is 4 units, and if you win, you win 2 units?

Playing on the Lakers tonight. Comppicks has them and so does Fargo. Both have been doing pretty good with NBA. Fargo has Lakers as a 10* and Comppicks has hit 3 out of the last 4. When I first looked at the opening line, I immediately said to myself 'it's a trap'. Celtics handled the Lakers on the road and now they're at home as a 2.5 favorite? I like the Celtics as a fan, but when it comes to business, I have to go with L.A. on the money. Good luck everyone

There does not seem to be a pattern with the release of their Padlocks. They release about 2/wk. Probably clear 70% with them though. You might see maybe 6 or 7 a month though.

I haven't been following them that long so maybe you know, but I usually see a lot of chalk on their plays. Just small sample size?

Well, they usually do have a higher percentage of small chalk plays. I really don't mind it though, because I see other services putting out -200 ml plays and charging for it (which is nuts to me). Also, some others give out +200 dogs that get crushed. I would rather play the small chalk picks that win consistently than take chances with some hit and miss sporatic action plays. They play dogs a fair amount also, just not as frequent as the small favs. They list their record on their website under Doc picks. Maybe that could help you determine if you like their action or not. Another site that is descent is Vegas Killers and any NBA from Matt Fargo (just my opinion).

I was just checking on the odds of their picks. According to their website (and yes, I understand it is not monitored) the picks break down as such for MLB:

50-48 All underdogs
109-48 All plays Even to -135
38-15 All plays -140 to -155
47-20 All plays -160+

I may be off by a game or two here and there (so many plays!), but this should give you a good idea of what they play.
