handicappers that sell picks should post up and play
i would like to see some of these cappers post up and play.
what would be the reasons they dont bet for themselves?
    a. they were cut off from everywhere for winning.
    b. they are broke.
    c. they want to win money without risk?

in my opinion there explanations for there picks sound like an espn intro into a highlight. i think that most of them sell picks because they gave up on trying to win for themselves. what do you think???

What makes you think they don't bet for themselves?

So why they sell their picks? Easy. To gain more money of course! If somebody wins 1500$ per month by betting his own plays, he will say "oh its enough, i dont need another extra 3000$"? I dont think so. extra money is always welcome. he can win money by both playing his own bets and selling picks.

Don't know if their plays were released already or not.

Doesn't matter if you think about it as there are line moves. Maybe Teddy Covers released the Lakers at +1.5 and they are now +2. Wouldn't surprise me to see him add on to his bet.

And, many books post lines the night before or for football, days in advance. So, a tout could be betting the night before.

So I assume you now see that it does make sense to see a tout laying money at any hour in a sports book.

of course, not all touts play their own plays.. there's too many scamdicappers in this industry. many of them are releasing nothing but a coin flip..

Totally agree. A lot of them don't have a clue. ANYBODY can be a "professional handicapper". Especially if you have a lack of integrity.

Anthony Redd plays his plays as that is his job, and has been for about a decade and a half.. The guy wins, too. Flat out wins.

I believe you're way off base. I think that most pro cappers that's posted in this forum do in fact bet their plays. Why wouldn't they? Most of them are very good.

Why are you so critical of these pro cappers? In spite of your posts, I think you're in here because you want their plays.

Besides, your complaining might belong in another forum.

Exactly! It's funny that you guys are talking so much crap about these touts, yet you're hanging out in a forum where people come to get their plays. Hypocritical?? Maybe. But for the record, I think the number of pros that play their own plays is about 50/50.
