Looks like the best strategy would be to tail several cappers at the same time. If one capper has a bad year and is down , let's say 10 units, but another capper has a good year and is up 15 units, then you are up 5 units.

Following the best cappers is key in my opinion . But I think it's best to have a plan and stick to it. I don't think cherry picking plays is necessarily a good idea
