If you know what's good for you you'll fade this. Dude is 3-17 in CBB since I started tracking him around Jan 20. Cold doesn't even begin to describe it. We're like 0-degrees Kelvin here.

Hopefully someone has IC. He's on fire. Bummed I missed yesterday.

Perfect Play---DePaul Oh what pressure to have to go on the road before having a chance to play at home and be announced as the best in the country. Villanova is No. 1 in the AP Top 25 for the first time in school history and now travels to play on the road. They have no idea how to handle this role. For Nova, Daniel Ochefu has been cleared to play but it''s uncertain. And he''s been out for four straight games so his contribution is suspect. DePaul has already defeated two ranked teams and this is certainly the one they want for their season resume. Myke Henry and Billy Garrett have have some of their best games against ranked opponents. Look for them to rise to the occasion and play great. DePaul tends to play to the level of the competition and the team and their fans will be sky high facing a Number 1 team. Not predicting an outright win but the Wildcats may be another #1 team that goes down with the jinx of that first time ranking

                        2-Unit Play. Take #736 Tennessee (-10.5) over Auburn (7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9)

Bruce Pearl is coming back to Knoxville. He is bringing Auburn into Tennessee and I think that this one should be a blowout. You know that the fans in Knoxville want nothing more than to see their Vols beat down Pearl. Auburn actually won the first meeting this year so Tennessee will want revenge in this one. The Vols are 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings and the favorite is 16-5 ATS when these two teams play. Tennessee is 8-1 SU in the last nine meetings. Auburn has not been playing well at all. They have lost their last five games all by at least 10 points and are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 overall. Go with the home team.

                        3-Unit Play. Take #725 Akron (-4) over Bowling Green (7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9)

Akron has become one of the hotter teams in the MAC. The Zips are 6-2 ATS in their last eight road games and they are 5-0 ATS in their last five games overall. Akron has also dominated this series with the Falcons, going 21-8 ATS in the last 29 meetings and 6-1 ATS in the last seven games against Bowling Green. The Falcons have really been struggling. They are 1-5 SU and ATS in their last six games overall and their only win came at Western Michigan. They have lost four straight at home and don't really have a home court advantage right now. I will go with the hot team.

                        2-Unit Play. Take #742 Virginia (-15) over Virginia Tech (8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9)

This is a revenge game for the Cavaliers. Virginia Tech pulled off a big upset in Blacksburg this year in a two-point win. The Hokies are also 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings so Virginia won't take them lightly. Virginia has won six straight games and they are coming off a blowout win over Pittsburgh. They have won their last three games by an average of 15 points per game and that includes games at Louisville and at Pittsburgh. They will be very motivated to get a big win here today and should win this one going away.

                        2-Unit Play. Take #59 Los Angeles (-105) over Boston (7:00) p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9)

The Kings struggles as of late have mainly come from inconsistent play within their defensive zone and Coach Darryl Sutter has been addressing the issue. This minor adjustment figures to be necessary in knocking down the red hot Boston Bruins tonight. Los Angeles has given up 18 goals over a 2-4 span which included a 4-2 home loss to Anaheim the other night. Even with the set back this Kings team is extremely dangerous. They are ranked 5th in goals against, 4th on the power play and 9th on the penalty kill. Boston has been winning games but I don't see a drastic difference in their play over the last month. They are 4-3 over their last seven games and not one of those wins has been over 2 digits. In fact, out of those 4 wins 3 of those have come in a shootout or overtime. Look for the Kings to address their flaws and exploit this Boston team tonight.

                        4-Unit Play. Take #55 Tampa Bay (-115) over Montreal (7:30) p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9)

Tampa Bay is just a different team when Ben Bishop is in between the pipes. In watching the Lightning's lackluster performance against the Senators last night I was shocked to see such a different team from their previous game against Pittsburgh. The Lightning are still one of the hottest teams in the league right now and are averaging 3.5 goals per game while winning 9 of its previous 11 games. Bishop will be back in net for this one and is a difference maker. He has a 1.76 GAA over his last 6 starts and made 31 saves in the first meeting against the Canadians. Ben Scrivens has been pulled up from the minors and is going to be asked to win his 3rd straight for Montreal. I don't see the Canadians inconsistent play beating the Lightning tonight nor do I see Scrivens winning 3 in a row.

                        3-Unit Play. Take #70 Chicago (-145) over San Jose (8:30) p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9)

The Western Conference leading Blackhawks begin a four game homestand against the San Jose Sharks tonight at a place they rarely lose. Chicago looks to win their 8th straight in the United Center and is now 21-5-1 on the season. This is a well needed four game home stretch for the Blackhawks considering they have only played in the United Center twice over its last eleven games. Corey Crawford will get the nod tonight where he has been virtually unstoppable. He has won four straight against the Sharks and is averaging 1.59 goals against with 7 shutouts in 24 home starts this season. Chicago has the better defense, is more disciplined and has the deeper squad. Chicago is just too good at home.
