This country is more right-center than left-center. I truly believe that. If the Republicans would just get with the times and understand how archaic their approach and view is when it comes to almost every social issue in our country today, you could see a resurrection of their party.

As it stands, catering to the uneducated simpletons and old white men in 2016 (i.e., SBR in a nutshell) gets you nowhere, which is going to continue to be the case as we shift more and more toward a multi-cultured society.

Bush, with the help of dems and reps, allowed the debt to go out of control and got the US into never ending wars. Which only goes to show both parties are equally guilty. Bush never caused the economic meltdown. That was largely due the subprime mortgages which both parties had to have known was happening but as usual, they turned a blind eye to it.

Bottomline, the last 2 guys weren't leaders or deal makers. They don't have the political will to tackle the real issues. Its easier to just kick the can down the road, play gold, fundraise and blame the other guys.
